The Essex Honey Show

The Essex Honey Show is an important event for Essex beekeepers, testing their skills in producing high quality honey and other bee-related products. In addition, it is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our craft to the public.

The show is part of the Essex Country Show which is held anually in early September at Barleylands  Billericay, Essex.

The Essex Country Show is a great day out and is now the largest event of its type in the South East, with 35,000 visitors in 2008.

In our marquee at the show you will find honey and related products, along with observation hives, honey tasting, candle rolling and much more.

There are classes for both novices and more experienced beekeepers to compete for trophies in 51 different classes including mead, wax, honey, baking with honey and photography

If you are interested in exhibiting at this years show please download the 2009 Show Schedule and 2009 Entry form.  Members intending to sell their produce at the 2009 show should complete and send this form with their produce.
